All im showing you is that these agreements and plans were already put in place. The Canada one is cut and dry, you can see the plan from 2024. The dollar amount is the exact same
Trumps plan with Mexico is the same as Biden’s, even to the amount of showers, 10,000. One difference is Trump doesn’t have the other countries in place also, and maybe they’ll be going to a different side of the border now? But again that doesn’t make sense since Trump claims the border is secure now, so they’d be better off on the opposite side of Mexico’s border

Trump has a remain in Mexico policy, which Biden rescinded. And we now have a deportation policy that won't allow people.to come in and wait for their hearing. So very few are coming up now. The 10,000 troops now is primarily about keeping the cartels from smuggling drugs.

I never said they sent all 10,000 to the northern border. Mexico already had 10,000 troops. At their southern border but also the northern border alongside America. Mexico had troops at the northern and southern border.
Not falling for anything. During Trump's first term Mexico was cooperative because Trump pressured them. Biden didn't and they did very little to slow down the influx. Double is trying to spin it all into no big deal about the border. Can't admit it was the biggest issue of the election, or maybe the second after inflation. I know you know this, just putting it out there for his benefit.
Where were they actively trying to stop crossing into the U.S.?

I’m not trying to downplay Biden’s border or saying he did it better than Trump
I’m saying that Trump really didn’t get much more out of these negotiations, especially for the the stakes he was holding against them
I showed you that the Canada plan was set up since last year and that it’s still 1.3 not 1.6, there was nothing significant more that Trump got out of this “negotiation”
No one could even justify why he was setting up tarrifs for Canada in the first place, and when you ask dido about it he started crying and saying he didn’t want to talk about it, only Mexico

And yet most of the influx came through Texas. That's a lot if people in four years. Mexico was letting in people from at least 180 countries to go to the turnstiles on the Rio Grande. There's absolutely no comparison between the last administration and this one over border security.
