Republicans received 45 percent of the vote in households with a union member in 2024. That number might go up in 2028.

On Tuesday, the Trump administration imposed 25 percent tariffs on most imports from Canada and Mexico and a new 10 percent tariff on imports from China.

“We are glad to see an American president take aggressive action on ending the free trade disaster that has dropped like a bomb on the working class,” the union wrote.

I don't know if it is "typical" at all. How many times have you heard of union members taking wage consessions to keep their company from going bankrupt only to have it announced a few days later that the lard big wigs got a multi-million dollar bonus. I agree that the UAW has some VERY nice contracts that probably allow for concessions BUT EVERYONE from the CEO on down should make them- not just Union workers. This sounds more like "typical" management" B.S.
