We’re in a proxy war, make no doubt about it.
It’s not even about protecting the citizens of Ukraine, although that’s the cover they use to win hearts and minds.

Funding the war for Ukraine exposes Russia as a paper tiger while simultaneously sending a “friend around and find out” message about invading neighboring sovereign nations to China; all without shedding a drop of American blood. Even at the disgustingly large price tag, it’s cheaper than the US fighting China or Russia ourselves.
