I support the idea that Israel is a strategic ally and it’s necessary for some assistance. I do not agree that Israeli government uses it completely appropriately all the time. Ukraine is not a strategic necessity. It is simply a reality.

when we talk about funding for israel and dictating their policy as addressed from the left , the left somehow conviently forgets that we have also given the palastinians a lot of money and aid most of which does not filter down to the people. We have never had a discussion about dictating policy to the palastinians or hamas and the previous PLO leadership. all we did was fund the weapons that started the next conflict.

I’m part Jewish. I certainly don’t hate Jews. Having said that it is heartbreaking. What is happening. Innocent people are always caught in the crosshairs of other peoples poor decisions. They have no control over. Having said that I don’t have the answer to fix a problem that has thousands of years of history behind it. Just a sad situation all the way around.
