I don't think anyone would complain of a well deserved pension increase...but the concern is what we gave up for it...bit like Obamacare..( for the record I was never a supporter of it)...sounded good until it started to roll-out and now if not corrected will harm the country..I think the same will be found out about our contract..."the price of increase wasn't worth the end result of what UPS will get..VCD's, lower ground rate of VCD's etc...only time will tell...bit like Obamacare

You are the Only person that mentions a pension increase hear? But you don't sound too positive about it other than it was needed! Your concern of the future of the union contract is alarming due to VCD why? And how will it affect us!

I seem to remember Executive Board demanding a yes vote from the membership to receive a increase for it to take effect in January! The increase should voted upon bye now and the outcome should be known to members! If the vote wasn't rendered on oct 15th! You want members to trust ups and leave without a factual increase? That vote needs to happen before we run for the gates!

Tim S and the rest of the board had this deal in done with company from beginning! Tim S knew how costly 25 and out is! Tim S and ups worked together to cheat younger members from leaving company early!! I see a age 57 now! Like management

So you are telling the members on here that our current board will be cutting our locals 25 and out pension in order for us to get a pension increase. That is a very strong accusation to make.So where do you get your facts from.Because i for one am real tired of reading all your B/S on here.So spell it out for us this new conspiracy theory.

25 and out is no longer sustainable. 30 years and a minimum retirement age are the only ways to help make sure that actives will enjoy the same pension that current retirees have.

Actually doing this job LONGER than 25 years is UNSUSTAINABLE!! Between the weight of the packages going up, the increased stress from more time-related packages, the company's profit- over -people philosophy, etc have made this job impossible to last more than 25 years of hard time. For all the money that WE make for this company as well as living with a worn out and at times broken down body, a decent retirement package after 25 years IS THE LEAST THEY COULD DO !!

I never thought I would agree with you on ANYTHING! But the 25 and out should stay! We deserve it! Members leave early for numerous reasons! Mainly health or injury! The fund is projected to be healthy in years to come! Money isn't there now! So to put another hole in it with an increase at this time seems careless!! Ya it's needed but do what's best for all! Wait! See what the new monies would do! On this path company will take 25 and out gladly! Think about it? No executive board member with 25 plus years would vote to take increase away to keep 25 and out! It's just people looking out for there best interest and kicking that can down the road hoping we forget!!!
