This is probably one of the few places that it was discussed. It only got dug up because of them forcing thru the supplements last time.


Maybe instead of mailing millions worth of fliers the union should spend its rescources informing members about things like this.

Sure but there still should be a 1 year limit to vote for pters, otherwise anything could get pushed on us as well. We can't expect someone planning to work here for 3 months then leave for school to go and vote for the future of UPS. Those are the ones that dont vote and they shouldnt. UPS is aware of that and playing dumb.

Because they didn’t WANT to inform the members, they knew it would get voted down and that would be the only way they could push it through.

What I find funny is that your leader Sean o passed his supplement and now he can’t fix anything with the newly passed master. Remember this. He wanted this master fixed to fi all the pension stuff that he screwed up when he was the assistant to the hofficer in the last contract. He made his deal with the devil, had to fix it with a passing of the eastern region supplement in the first try.

From the texts I’m getting, that move just cost them a lot of dues paying guys in 728.

Still sitting on 600+ 9.5/8hr grievances from April on. Forcing this contract would put a lot of these guys over the edge to withdraw.

I could make an argument that management made more members vote NO on this contract by their own involvement. I’ve been around longer than you have been alive. If management told me to vote one way I’d go the other way.
