Yeah, tried this week for the first time in my 24 year career. It was awesome. Going to be one of my weeks from here on out.

The part that sucks for me is like that would be a 2017 week for me and a 2016 week for my wife and she already has 8 weeks to my 4.

Vacations are to be scheduled any time during the time from
December 26 through Thanksgiving week exclusive of the time
between the Monday after Thanksgiving through December 25.

I tried to take that week too.

Denied.

I was also denied the week between Christmas and New Years, this past year.

I have taken that week off in the past and would like to get back to it. Both daughters are off, so is the wife. I am the only one that has to work.

I was under the impression that before eCommerce exploded, peak ended Christmas Eve. Am I wrong?

Why would any company close that week? So does that count as one of their vacation weeks? Most people only get 2-3 weeks a year.

I don't mean official dates, just that it would die down more significantly in the past after Christmas. Now online shopping continues strong well into January.

They tried to claim it was a typo on the vacation schedule last year but multiple grievances got it back for this year. Makes sense. They have seasonals to cover it
