Some people who are too lazy to go to work are also too lazy to get a dr to fill out FMLA paperwork.

Agree, anyone abusing not coming to work or too lazy to get FLMA deserves it, what I’m saying is ridiculous is giving someone a warning letter for going a few days over their allotted time. It’s a joke.

We had a guy with 70-80 occurrences. New center manager shows up. Gave him a few intents to term and now he has pretty good attendance. Every time he calls off he gets a letter. But he went down being late 3-4 times a week to maybe being late once a month.

70-80 occurrences he deserves what he has coming to him. Going over allotted days by two and getting a warning letter is idiotic. It would never turn into anything but it’s strictly the principle.

The people they count on to be there every day are given a hard time if they miss more than a couple of days
They tried pulling that crap with me about 20 years ago

Well you called off seven times this year.

You only have five sick days

I said well I still have sick days left because we can Bank them

But I will be more than happy to call often November and December if you want me to

Case dismissed

I never missed more than 1 or 2 days a year until one time I was sick for the second time in 6 months and missed a third day. I was like wtf? when they had me in the office about that.

It’s a game. Seriously how many days do you really need? Most of the days I take are burners and I take them weeks at a time. If someone has to stay home I let the kids who need to work take my route. They are just starting out so why add stress to them.

But doesn't that mess up your health care and your pension credits?
