This guy was a runner and would tear up routes, I kept telling him to slow down a little bit. Young guy with wife and four kids, he told me he was upset that they couldn't afford anything for Christmas. We had another guy about a year ago come to work and was acting nervous and sweating like crazy before the PCM. He refused to be tested and was fired too, he was using meth. About 15 years ago we had a driver win $50K in the lottery and he overdosed on a coke/heroine mixture. Nobody had any idea he had a problem. I know some management that gets high too. You never know, its not just our customers.

It’s not hard to overdose if you don’t know what your doing, or even if you do know what your doing. Had a friend in high school die of an overdose. He was 17 years old.

I should quit the devil weed and just get on sedatives, hypnotics and opiates and drive a car around all ed up, after having drank a bottle of rum the night before and blackout-banging a hooker with AIDS.

People with drinking problems are usually the first to hate on pot.

yeah it would be so much better for you to take physically addictive opiates! All the dehydration and intestinal cramps will be so worth it! You know what they say if your poop isn't black you aren't taking enough opiates! Maybe if you work real hard you could OD on opiates too. Shoot, we had a "center manager" of a satellite center out of our building (really just an OCS) popped for dealing cocaine out of his office using the company number.

Happened about the same time his mentor (our center manager) was almost arrested for running a Ponzi scheme out of our center.

Anyone else sick of the welfare potheads who get Amazon stuff everyday? It's unbelievable the number of drugs addicts who get everyday and when they open their door a cloud of weed smoke engulfs you. Half the time they are never there and it's a signature required package but you can always count in them being there the first of the month. I'm sick of these lowlifes. I've turned a blind eye to it for a long time but after seeing stacks of cash, drugs, poor little dirty kids in diapers walking around and getting cussed at or, smacked I think in gonna start reporting them. Imagine the difference UPS drivers could make if everyone did the same thing. Maybe I'm wrong idk....anyone else experience situations like this? I see this at least 5-10 times a day.

Sounds like you have some emotional and/or mental issues.

I don’t like it when people smoke around their children, especially cigarettes while in the car. It’s your choice not the child’s. Not to mention your setting an example and impression into your kids head. I don’t see this as a welfare or marijuana problem, more like a ty parent problem and there are a lot of those.

I guess what I meant was if we went back to how it used to be, you wouldn't even be asking your question, because those same folks would be busy working at their jobs. You might be asking how can you leave a signature package when they're never home because they're always working. Oh they're working now....hustling, scamming people, scamming the government, buying and selling drugs, but I mean real honest work.

As far as turning them in, that's up to you. I bet you'd be wasting your time as whatever agency you tell would just say "yeah, we know" and drop it. Plus, if your customers found out you snitched on them, you might not make it to retirement. So if you do tell, I wouldn't do it right away so they can piece together why DHS showed up the day after the UPS guy stopped by.

But the UPS guy comes everyday and potheads don't think things through clearly.

Wrong....my point is it's easy to turn a blind eye to that kind of stuff because we see it daily. But at what point do you think we are responsible to take action. Welfare waste abuse etc is a separate topic. I'm simply stating I felt obligated once I see helpless kids are being drug into that life. Why not ask someone to clarify instead of trying to speak for them.

I've known a Ctr Mgr caught by the police while using coke , a on car sup running football cards, seen another Ctr Mgr taken by the police out in handcuffs , know of a whole building where every sup & Mgr was fired for using company funds at strip clubs nearby; and had a new Mgr show up for work to an empty office, he asked me where all the equipment went , I told him that the last Mgr ( who was being fire for thief of gold coins which I found about later ) had driven his personal car into the building and told me to help him load it all into his car .
