Do not take a "starter job. If you do not make more than 40,000 a year ---do not work and be eligible for all the government programs.

Problem down the road : No starter job --no Middle job---no ending job---Let gov provide basic food, shelter and medical ---same you would get as a prisoner or slave. Waste your life --it is yours to do what you want.:sad-little:

This is the internal Cancer that will bring the end to this Country.

Sooner or later the government runs out of the workers money !!!

That's right.
Obama's ultimate goal is to be in full and complete control of the people. Getting everyone on welfare is just a start.

A population that is unarmed, immobile, hungry, cold and dependant on the government is easier to control than one that isn't.

Does the name "Hitler" ring a bell?

One of Obama’s crowning achievements.

(CNSNews.com) — During fiscal year 2012, the U.S. government spent a record $80.4 billion on food stamps, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a $2.7 billion increase from FY 2011. (Fiscal year 2012 ran from Oct. 1, 2011 through Sept. 30, 2012.)

According to the Monthly Treasury Statement that summarizes the receipts and outlays of the federal government, $80,401,000,000 went towards SNAP during FY 2012, which was a $2.7 billion increase from $77,637,000,000 in FY 2011.

The SNAP program is administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), which also runs other food assistance programs under the auspices of the Food and Nutrition Service Agency.

In total, nearly $106 billion was spent on food assistance in 2012, with $18.3 billion that went to “Child Nutrition Programs.

Fun Fact Of The Day: For Every Job Created Since Obama Took Office More Than 20 People Have Gone On Food Stamps…
To be precise, 20.57 new food stamp recipients for each job (841,000 net jobs vs 17.3 million new food stamp recipients).
Via Zero Hedge:
. . .Since his inauguration, the US has generated just 841,000 jobs through November 2012, a number is more than dwarfed by the 17.3 million new foodstamps and disability recipients added to the rolls in the past 4 years. And since the start of the depression in December 2007, America has seen those on foodstamps and disability increase by 21.8 million, while losing 3.6 million jobs. End result: total number of foodstamp recipients as of November: 47.7 million, an increase of 141,000 from the prior month, and reversing the brief downturn in October, while total US households on foodstamps just hit an all time record of 23,017,768, an increase of 73,952 from the prior month.

The cost to the government to keep these 23 million households content and not rising up? $281.21 per month per household

Not sure about you guys, but I love working 70+ hours a week so someone can sit on their ass and collect welfare.

Via Daily Caller:
House Republicans introduced legislation Thursday to reinstate the original work requirement for welfare benefits critics say was loosened by an executive order coming from the President Barack Obama.

The bill, titled “Preserving Work Requirements for Welfare Programs Act of 2013,” will prohibit the Obama administration from granting waivers to the work requirements contained in the welfare reform legislation enacted in 1996 under the Clinton administration.

“The welfare work requirements are essential to moving people from a government check to an actual paycheck and are supported by an overwhelming majority of the American people,” said House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp in a statement.

The Obama administration claims that it was giving states the flexibility some governors say is needed in meeting the work requirements during a soft economy. To qualify, the Department of Health and Human Services stated, governors “must commit that their proposals will move at least 20 percent more people from welfare to work compared to the state’s past performance.”

Via CNS News:
In 2012, a U.S. Department of Agriculture official said that food stamp fraud totals $750 million each year – a number that more than doubles the cost of trafficking reported in a 2006- 2008 USDA study.

Kevin Concannon, U.S. Department of Agriculture undersecretary for food, nutrition and consumer services, told the Huffington Post last year that food stamp fraud totals around $750 million each year.

The $750 million number is more than double the amount in total dollars of fraud detected annually in a 2006-2008 study on trafficking – a type of fraud that involves selling Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to food retailers for cents on the dollar.

“This is $750 million that isn’t being used to provide food to individuals and families and that issue isn’t lost on us. We want to maintain the confidence of American taxpayers because everyone is challenged in this economy – the payers as well as the folks who are benefiting from the program,” Concannon said.

moreluck, didn't your own daughter take government assistance, while your husband was still making good money at UPS?
In case you didn't know......adult children are on their own. I'm not responsible for their income. What they do is none of my bees wax.

We used food stamps ourselves for a few weeks.......a hand up, like it was meant to be........it was after a lay off and before the next job came along.
