A few weeks ago this guy approached my wife in the grocery store. He told her that he would pay for $100 worth of groceries for her with his food stamps if my wife gave him $50 in cash. My wife turned him down. There is a lot of fraud with these programs, the guy needed drugs more than he needed food, he had another buddy in the store doing the same thing.

Gov't spends almost twice as much on Gov't Welfare as it does on Gov't Welfare. So let's cut the bigger gov't welfare queen's check first just to see if the theory holds true that good things come from cutting welfare!

A whole different scenerio :
Well, did my brand ambassador job Friday & Sat at a Liquour store, sampling Rum & Brandy.
They hired a new 19 yr old teenager there, just on Wednesday.
He showed up 2 1/2 hrs before his shift on Friday, his co-workers basically called him crazy to be in already, but he had a plan to make hot chocolate for everyone, so an act of kindness. His co-workers still thought it was very odd, and sure enough he wanted to start early with no pay, but co-workers wouldn't allow it.
Fast forward a few hrs :
I see him working the till, how great he is with customers, ect - thinking he is doing an awesome job.
Well, before I knew it, - he quit that day !
His mother called in, telling him to quit !
Opposingly he is bi-polar or has some sort of medical/mental health issue that even his co-workers weren't aware of.
But according to this worker - his mother told him to quit, because he is earning more money from governmnet assistance than working there - and he would lose that government assistance if he keeps working. - So, he did just that - listened to mommy and quit on the spot.
Not sure if "mommy" also gets assistance for him , but most likely - him being a dependant (tax deductable).
This kid only had 5 months of work experience in the past - and this job would have gave him even more experience.
Sad to see that people stay at home because government pays them more to do just that !

When the transaction was denied, she assaulted a store clerk, pushed another employee to the ground and fled from the store with the merchandise.
Investigators say Browning went to another Walmart in the area a short time later and again attempted to buy several iPads with an EBT card. She was apprehended at the scene while attempting to flee with the merchandise.
