No, I'm a buy and hold. Shorting is for the big boys who can afford a big loss.Awhile back there were a bunch of members who said they were actively shorting UPS. Not a huge loss for those shorting but it could be a some time before you get out without a slight haircut.

Today? Punched out at 16:15 and got the guarantee. Lightest Saturday I’ve seen in 3 yearsAll of our routes were in before 7pm. Most before 6pm.
We don’t have 22.4s yet but have Saturday delivery. Still taking volunteers and forcing the rest. We are all essentially unassigned drivers on Saturdays. I like watching what are normally the higher seniority unassigned RPCDs and TCDs on weekdays squirm as the handful of us higher seniority bid drivers start looking at the routes. This is after four straight days of 9.5 violations though....I am pretty sure they’re advancing Saturday and possibly Monday crap into Thursday and Friday. Dude I don’t even grab the board or look at where I’m at until 1 minute before start time just to avoid that situation....I have plenty of area knowledge and most of the old guys who sit in the office an hour before start time and REALLY make the driver seniority decisions on who runs what....I run all of their routes and do every stupid ass thing they ask me to do on their route and always keep the truck clean....so they all love me and usually protect me from the dog routes.We don’t have 22.4s yet but have Saturday delivery. Dude it’s like the mafia in there, same 5-7 15+ year guys drinking lots of coffee sitting right at the board combing over every single route on the computer, and every time a higher seniority cover comes in to bump....they basically have to run it by them...THEY basically decide when we go out cold and who needs to be tested and who needs to be “taught a lesson.” I feel like I’m in a movie when I’m in thereAn hour before start time.......BAHHAAAAAAA!
