What are you listening to? Part 6

Old Man Jingles

Rat out of a cage
@Old Man Jingles I forgot to tell you to check out the chocolate at 4:29, yummy.
They got the moves!

That is quite a set of friends to perform my favorite Al Green song.
Al Green, Bonnie Raitt, Joss Stone, Michael McDonald, Hall Oates

My favorite cover is by David Sanborn and his band which included Marcus Miller.
I've seen both many times over the years but I remember being blown away by Marcus on bass.

I like the cinematography and especially the Black & White high contrast.

Check out 'SMILE' at 24:40 ... this was the first song I ever heard by David Sanborn.
I was hooked!

Hiram Bullock just goes crazy on guitar ... died too young of cancer! :sad2:

This is my new Guitar Hero ... he is so good!
Those SG guitars are so good too ... my favorite axe.
AC/DC guitarist brothers Malcolm and Angus Young play SG guitars.

@Old Man Jingles I've always loved this since I first heard it, just thought I'd offer that. Who gives a :censored2: I know,
Memories, it's what makes us, or at least what we prefer to recall. Good memories from that time.
EC was second only to Jimi ... there are a lot of good songs on this album.
He recorded this after a 3-year battle with heroin addiction ... us 12-step people like this tie-in.

I didn't know about that, the addiction battle and the recording of the album.
I loved it still do, what you told me enhances my appreciation. I had the vinyl, long gone now, maybe my ex has it.
Love is lovely, let it Grow.
