What happens if you don't join the union?

You aren't being helpful

Let me explain it to you

Someone I know went to new hire ordination for UPS and was required to join the union and when mentioned as a part-time employee they would never have full access and didn't want to join they were given the option to resign. They would not proceed forward with employment unless signed up for the union in Oregon.

Doubters. Jim Casey approves of my post. It was his company and he recognized the value of the union.
There was a Reddit post on the Amazon sub discussing unionizing and they were mostly all against it. To be fair it could have been bots and influencers from Amazon, wouldn’t surprise me at all

Their reasoning was that they “would have more bosses” and that “their insurance would be worse”. Sad, really

Work now, Grieve later.
My post was not demolished. You only think this because you agree with Crowbar. You're too biased to see it any differently.

As to being "evasive," and "dodging questions," I have neither the time nor ability to respond to every single point or question posed to me. I've made a massive amount of replies, and apparently, you wouldn't be satisfied unless I tripled that amount.

Now, you say that I blew Crowbar off by saying he was "not being interested in discussing ideas." The truth is, neither are you. Your responses are shallow and ad-hominem.

You said I was "demolished," without backing up that statement.
You said I'm "a joke."
You told me to "grow up, get a job (and a life),"
And that I have nothing of value to say.

What is consistent in these statements? Zero respect. No recognition of opposing arguments. Personal attacks. Name calling. Massive generalizations. Simplistic childish attacks.

You see, I actually like debate. I took it in high school because I wanted to. However, I've found that in real life, most people cannot debate. When these people attempt debate, it degrades quickly, gets personal, and ends up with both sides saying the other is "stupid," "ignorant," or something similar. From experience, I've found that such "discussions" are pointless. Nothing is gained from them. Without both sides showing some respect, there is no point in continuing.

For this reason, people like you and Crowbar are not worth much of my time. You think anyone who disagrees is a maroon. So, I might reply, but I don't lose any sleep over refraining from doing so.
"What happens if you don't join the union? You become a scab / :censored2: which makes sense since you're asking if you have the option to join in a non right to work state. Grow some balls.

Reddit has its value in some respect but many of the responses I can’t relate with. I think your comment makes sense about the bot responses I never even considered that.

Reddit used to be cool but now it sucks, the mods suck and like you said I really can’t relate with most of the responses either

Interesting fact from the founders themselves, when Reddit first started, it was all bots because they needed activity to draw attention and get real users. Makes you wonder though how many bots are out there on reddit and Twitter and Facebook now.

We saw the reports from Russia, they use so many bots, but it’s not just pro Trump stuff like people think. They do pro Bernie bots, pro Biden bots, pro Jill stein bots. Their main goal is to cause division, and I’m sure Russia isn’t the only one doing it. They also did something along the lines of organizing protests on Facebook, and would have blm groups across from back the blue groups, just to try and cause havoc

Joe Rogan shut down his Internet forum back in the day because he said it just got infiltrated by Russian bots

No it was actually was great for a bit in its prime. Small hobby subreddits with tons of useful information. Way less censorship. Before they changed the algorithim to be more corporate friendly it would be the first place to get breaking news and updates. Great AMAs. Very libertarian vibes overall, it was awesome

There were multiple steps to it become crap. The original owner of the site believed in completely no censorship, similar to musks idea with Twitter now. Then he ended up killing himself, but that’s a controversy in itself

First they banned a creepy child sub, which everyone was cool with because it’s gross. But then they banned a shoplifting sub where people talked about how to steal lol

Then there was this sub called “fat people hate” which was funny but doesn’t need much explanation, but pretty hateful. That was the big domino into becoming the big pusillanimous site it is now. Now the site has gone public, it’s a giant echo chamber and the mods are giant pusillanimous with with huge egos. Go on Reddit for a bit and try speaking your mind, it will really make you appreciate @BadIdeaGuy

Been on there from time to time and you can’t have a conversation with people because if you send too many messages back-and-forth Orth they don’t even let you see each other’s messages after a while. Dumb it’s dumb and it’s like forum for kindergartners, at least that’s the way it’s moderated.
