What is the REAL reason negotiations have stalled?

And that's exactly what I want you to do. Get every one of your members prepared and made to understand that this will be a long protracted strike. One in which they should be prepared for surprise countermeasures from UPS and other carriers .

But most importantly do not take out their frustrations by taking the law into their own hands.
I wonder what you think I’m doing 🤔

You really think it’s going to end up being a long-term drawn out strike? Genuinely asking

No it's not jealousy on my part. It's over confidence on yours. And it's that over confidence that could be your undoing.

That is why you guys will never go Union…not enough “confidence”.

What did I just heard..“ your master is calling you, better get to it”…

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
Part-time pay is absolutely an issue and an issue for the union this year because unlike 30-40 years ago, part-time starting pay is at the level or not far above minimum wage in many states
Who cares? Starting pay is a company issue. Not a union issue. Union issue is what they make after they make book.

Would be nice to entice higher quality workers to come in and make book. Drivers still have to deal with these workers loading their trucks before they make book. Has to be frustrating having a revolving door of low paid workers loading your truck making your tough job tougher

Exactly!. Keep in mind the many weeks long SWG strike has remained peaceful . The SAG strike will hopefully remain peaceful.
And don't forget the UAW contract with the "Big 3" automakers expires on 9-14.
This summer has been labeled by some in the news media as "Strike Summer". And no question conservative media will be out prowling for any bad publicity incident it can exploit for it's own ratings gain.

Meh. Loaders simply are t trained anymore. Ups could do that if they choose to make drivers days better too.

Oh my God, how are we going to ever fight against a Twitter post from a corporate account?
I know maybe we’ll have our spokes person and president get on TV and explain the details every day for the last two weeks like he’s been doing? please pay attention @bacha29, as usual, you’re willfully Uninformed, and completely and utterly out of your depth.
Cowards make a ton of noise and are typically the first to perish.

I have NOT been lurking

Eat. Sleep. Work. Jork.
I was a Day 1 contractor at RPS/Caliber/ Fedex Ground. It was and remains a very shrewd company that despite it's poor reputation has a market share that is now only 4% smaller than UPS 33% vs 37% . That is how much it has grown in recent years. Now despite claims that they are going to maintain normal operations the freedom they have to operate in any fashion they want should give any Teamster pause when it comes to the belief that Fedex will not do everything in it's growing power to capitalize to the greatest extent possible on the current discord ongoing at UPS.
You dumbasses keep appearing on bonehead Truckers. We don't

We'll see what the public thinks if your strike erupts into violence and cops start getting beat up and state governors react harshly.
I actually looking forward to seeing you people go on strike just to see how long you can hold your ranks together for however long it takes and you can keep it peaceful. I want to see how long you can cope with the pressure and anguish of a protracted strike.

I want to see if the bluster, bragging and bravado you people have been expending in record setting quantities can be backed up with matching quantities of determined resolve.
Lol, calm down. Don’t think there will be any violence

When I read between the lines and analyze this post, you sound scared.
