Total package
We can rebuild him
Our dispatchers are at home by the time drivers have figured out nobody has the right stops on their car
In your center....does the dispatcher pull the cuts or is the list given to the loader and he pulls what is on the list?
That's the safety committees job!!Every time we get a new dispatcher, we get into a fight about it. Our rule is if it progresses the package forward, it is Union work. Pulling packages off one car to move to the other is progressing it forward. We have won every time.
That's the safety committees job!!
I was making a joke. I always see the safety guys doing add/cuts instead of actual safety work.No way. Art 3 Sec. 7 Supervisors working.

They areMy bad. As long as they are the Union side of the committee, I'm good with that.
It's extra work and should be offered by seniority, not by which safety committee member has the prettiest mouth. My bad. As long as they are the Union side of the committee, I'm good with that.
They like hiding it under safety hours. It's extra work and should be offered by seniority, not by which safety committee member has the prettiest mouth.
Who are they hiding it from?....themselves???Try like hiding it under safety hours.
I guess for production numbers? You know what kind of shell games they playWho are they hiding it from?....themselves???

Do you agree they should be doing add/cuts?Safety hours go into production.
Safety guys or supervisors?Do you agree they should be doing add/cuts?
Safety guys. Our sups are too lazy to do manual labor.Safety guys or supervisors?
I think the preloaders should be doing it. But if the preload is short, I don't have an issue with it. The only alternative is to use supervisors. Would you rather have a union employee doing it or management?Safety guys. Our sups are too lazy to do manual labor.
All's I'm saying they are using safety hours for things other than safety. I'm at work early, I'll do it.I think the preloaders should be doing it. Supervisors working pays double time.If you've got the seniority and want the work grieve it
It's extra work
Then make that known. We have guys that come in early that won't go near a package even if you ask. They want to be gotcha men, and catch a sup doing it.All's I'm saying they are using safety hours for things other than safety. I'm at work early, I'll do it.
