Why would they do that when they can pick up the phone, call a temp agency and be driving a big truck before the day is over?

In my building you do it to keep healthy insurance for the week, get hours towards the 1800 we need for pension credit and make more $$.

I've looked at other driving jobs but most are lucky to pay $.40 a mile and want you out multiple days. For me 2 days out to gross around $400 is a no go...I would rather load in the building if it comes to that.
