Worst Insurrection Ever

Perhaps but maybe they’re the same ones willingly going to jail for letting Trump secretly conspire, and tell them to do what he did acting as there general? or maybe both sides are full of crap and it was just a protest that some got out of hand, not an insurrection? Then was used for political purposes?
1000+ conspirators all willing to take jail time instead of showing the emails, texts and payments from their liberal Democrat overlords. Not one single one flipped to say “I was paid to make Republicans look bad”.

Bears repeating.

MAGA cannot except that people on their side gambled and lost.
Guess what? Newly released video showed Capitol police firing rubber bullets and tear gas into the crowd BEFORE it turned violent. Just more suppressed video that showed things the Jan. 6th Commission didn't want us to know.

Before the crowd turned violent or before the crowd breached the barricades and didn’t comply with orders?

Pro Democracy? Burning down buildings, smashing windows, attacking others? Strange view of democracy.
Not a "strange view" at all if you think about it.

It has been said that "democracy is the tyranny of the majority." It has also been said that "democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting to decide what to have for dinner." Someone else said "the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with a typical voter."

The ancient Greeks figured out that a true democracy descends quickly into failure.

Videos from the day of the attack appear to show some officers escorting rioters inside the building. In one video, USCP officers can be seen opening barricades allowing the mob to enter the Capitol complex without resistance.

Those officers would have been failing to do their jobs and prevent unauthorized entry into the Capitol where they went from room to room looking to confront our elected representatives and where they destroyed the public's property.

This doesn't change a thing, buddy.

But wanting to stop that sort of thing has been twisted into anti democracy. What a country!
