I’ve never disputed that a few cops had let through the crowd. That’s not even close to the full story that defines that day, though.

Coupla' summers ago I was camping rough a few miles outside the middle of nowhere Talkeetna, AK. I was digging out, surveying, and evaluating a long abandoned '63 Jimmy 4x4.

Bear attacks mostly happen when you are being quiet and surprise or startle a bear. So you want to be loud and noisy in order so that they will avoid you before they get near you.

When I was exhausted and needed to sleep, I laid down in the bed of the truck and turned on a radio very loudly and placed it nearby in order to keep the bears away. The ONLY reasonably clear station I could get was NPR.

I considered turning off the radio and letting the bears have me.

With that said we had one side that didn’t want all the video released while we had another side that has always wanted it release so much so that Kevin McCarthy lost his job trying to hold it back after promising to release it all. Any time someone or a side doesn’t want “all” the evidence put out you can bet they know they will be proven wrong if “all” comes out.
