I delivered to a rendering plant before. The stench could be smelled miles away. The people who worked there were mostly in an air conditioned control room but when trying to deliver it was mostly shallow breaths since you couldn't hold your breath long enough.

My center's back yard adjoins a county recycling plant. How in the heck can recycle constantly smell like decaying, rotting vegetables, garbage, & with a touch of dead fish is beyond me. The seagulls sure do like it.

For a year I had a country route. It had two pig farms on it. But that must be the smell that is in Hell because nothing has ever come close to smelling that bad.

Pig is bad too, A sharper more acrid stench but it doesn't linger in the air like a rendering plant.

Ugh...on my belt..that is the understatement of the year. UPS should pay them in quarters...maybe then they'd go to the laundromat.

Yep that's about the worst I have ever smelled.

We have one employee whom management gives soap to and tell to bath in the heat of summer. Many refuse to unload a trailer with them.

Had a disgruntled ex-wife, send her ex husband, a box of crap! Thank GOD, it was in the truck next to me, and not mine! The smell was unbelievable!

I don't blame them. I may not smell shower fresh when I leave work...but I'm clean coming in.

I knew a driver who couldn't have showered more often than once a week, even in the summer. It was impossible to stand closer than 10 or 15 feet away from him. There was also a female driver who had a serious hygiene problem - serious rotten crotch odor (that may have been her defense mechanism to keep men away from her in the hood - but I doubt it).
