Separate Union. Years ago our local didn't think it was worth organizing a few car washers

I never heard of that, I was on it once, 6pm to 3 am. Guys would sleep in the package cars.

I can only control what I look like. And you can always run your truck thru the car wash here if you’re that concerned. Of course that’s what car wash is for.

It wasn’t stealing believe me! I was on car wash, they would be thrilled if everyone washed their cars. Didn’t even have to gas every truck because some routes didn’t have a lot of miles. Peak was the only time we worked ‘hard’.

This is the same as a air driver doing ground work because there isn't enough driver's. It's not your work and if car wash needs help than the company needs to hire more car wash employees.

I know lot of loaders that are happy when management helps them load trucks. Do we just allow it because the loaders are ok with it?

This is the same as a air driver doing ground work because there isn't enough driver's. It's not your work and if car wash needs help than the company needs to hire more car wash employees.

It’s not the same at all. It’s a straight 8 job. We got paid no matter what. It was a very high seniority job. They slept half the night. Stop making it something it’s not because you don’t know anything about it here.

Maybe it's a straight 8 job because driver's like you take their work all the time? When the work piles up someone has to do it. It won't pile up when union members keep stealing other people's work.

So PVDs are ok because you can only work 14 hours and someone needs to do that extra work each day. I mean they pay dues in non RTW states so all is good right?
