People in the U.S. used to have more kids. We're barely at replacement level now and many Western countries are below replacement level. You run around screaming but truth is the world's population is reducing on its own. You also don't factor in man's ability to mitigate future issues through technological advances. We have instantaneous access to all of the information ever recorded, basically.
We have cheap or free entertainment in whatever category we choose.
We have the ability to travel safer, and faster than ever before.
We have the ability to stay connected with family and friends over any distance, instantly.
Etc...
we have climate collapse and nuclear near miss bc of tech.
with no will power, tech is used for evil.
its also warmed the planet 1.3 degrees C, risked nuclear war several times since wwII, and done a bunch of other bad things
You choose to see worldwide failure because you can't cope with the responsibilities the world asks of adults.
