We have a standing directive in my center that we are to unload our own package cars if we have 50 or fewer pickup pieces.

50 pcs or less? I had days where I had almost that many send agains to unload. Car was smoking like a train on the way in. just kidding

And now UPS wants Sundays and non-consecutive days off in the next contract? Please. How can you have a life with that? Sorry but UPS isn't the center of my universe.

They told us 25 or less. We still have drivers who pick up maybe 5 packages on a rural route and leave them in the car lol.

Interesting....so if I had 25 years in and worked 500 hours for each of my last 5 years I would have my peer 80 and would have my "full" pension??

You could work 500 hours a year for 25 years and retire under peer 80. But it will only be 25% of what 2000 hrs gets you.

Hell! We don't hear anything. Brownout is the way our local is here. Which is another reason why I have never voted yes. We find out when it comes in the mail. Also what I see on the cafe.

I would be OK with it. But, only if they cover the pension with a guarantee of no cuts
