In control of own destiny
I hear ya. But this is unionism, not Congress.
True. But, Hoffa is a politician. He does really nothing. But, stand for photo ops w his fist up. You and I know, he never earned or knows what it means

Based upon last year’s election, he needs the most stellar contract if he wants to compete. I personally think we’ve seen him win his last election. Sean carried him in the East. Without the East, Hoffa doesn’t have a chance.True. But, Hoffa is a politician. He does really nothing. But, stand for photo ops w his fist up. You and I know, he never earned or knows what it means

I think that when Hoffa saw Sean finally going after the company and extending an olive branch to the opposition for a strong contract, then Hoffa got nervous and removed Sean. In that process, Hoffa screwed way more people than ever.So you are saying. Hoffa played him to a tee. Then dumped him when he didn't need him any more. Maybe O isn't who he thinks he is?
For straight time?Working 12 hr days this last week had me thinking that 3 - 13 1/3 days wouldn't be so bad if they were consecutive, followed by four days off.
People don’t get it.For straight time?
Are you nuts?
So the guys in 804 who already had 8 weeks max out would get 9 weeks???? That’s pretty much unheard of in any industry... but I still say friend that...pay raises instead...
I agree , we would have to get something big for that... and on the next contract after this one receive like a buck an hour... catch up payI would be OK with it. But, only if they cover the pension with a guarantee of no cuts
It’s these damn Millennials...,almost as bad as the baby boomers!! LolPeople don’t get it.
I would think they would be the guys who are trying to be “semi- retired”.... one foot in and one foot outWe have quite a few drivers who like the 4x10 schedules in feeders.
That’s what I was thinking... that’s bs....You have 29 years in and only 4 weeks? Ugh
Incredible!That’s what I was thinking... that’s bs....
I agree and hope he will be in the top spot... does anyone know if he is considering a serious run for president???Next year is my 25th, I’ll get my 6th week. I’m in the NE Supplement. Sean O has done a magnificent job negotiating our supplement the last few contracts. It’s so unfortunate he will not be negotiating the master (this time). But I have a feeling that he will be Chairing the following ones!
I have no problem with 5 years if the language is rock solid and the raises are par for the course....Don't be quite sure about 5 yrs away. Health reasons, fluke things or a skeleton in the closet, like we have going on in the world today.
You would get more weeks at Walmart or target at 29 years...Incredible!
Wonder if he is regretting it now or just doesn’t gas???I think that when Hoffa saw Sean finally going after the company and extending an olive branch to the opposition for a strong contract, then Hoffa got nervous and removed Sean. In that process, Hoffa screwed way more people than ever.
I think he doesn’t care. I think it was his last election. And you will never see him run again in my opinion.Wonder if he is regretting it now or just doesn’t gas???

People are currently doing a 4 10 hour day shift without overtime. UPS would apply the same standards to your 3 13.3 shift. By your ideology, UPS could get away with paying zero in overtime costs. They would have a Monday to Wednesday shift and a Thursday to Saturday shift. They only way I’d consider it is if overtime was included after 8.Where does it say there wouldn't be OT?
