Yeah, great, woo-hoo, awesome, SOB eliminated the forced 6th punch. I never wanted to work 6 days. It's about time, yeah, great, thumbs up, cool........

Wait, what? Now they won't let me work 6 days? Crap, dang, that sucks. I needed the money.....
You would be surprised how many people are pissed, that they’re not being violated by 9.5. They really like those grievance checks.

I am a petty MF and I will never forget the way management treated us the last contract. Audibly laugh out loud when they ask for volunteers watch the reaction and enjoy.

How does “sob cave” the contract is done , the rules don’t change
He is rumored to have signed a Memorandum of understanding that ups can’t figure out the scheduling for peak so it’s ok to force 6 punch. Dosnt even make sense if they can tfigure out who is Monday-Friday and who is Tuesday-Saturday how does making everyone Monday-Saturday solve that? If anything he could have let them switch people post 2019 back and forth until the new year with reasonable notice. Forcing drivers that started in the 90s to Monday-Saturday seems like a big concession.

😂 that’s how ppl are hearing things , but the ppl that were forced to work 6 days still don’t seem to want it . Me on the other hand , I’m senior enough to never have been forced , I volunteered once or twice a month all year , basically if I didn’t have plans I’d work. When I wanted to make plans I wouldn’t . Extra money is nice

Again, a lot of rumors going around. Until I see something signed I just won’t give it much thought. Language is no 6th punch and that’s what I’m going with. If there is a mou then I’ll deal with it when it happens. No point in getting worked up about it and then it never happens.

Interesting, I haven’t heard a word about something like that.

Rumors???

At UPS???

Say it ain't so.
Yeah, and it was a big concession for Saturdays? I guess, Feeders has been doing it for years. I did, however, talk to one of the regional directors recently and he said nothing like this, actually quite the opposite you would think he would’ve known about that. 🤷‍♂️

Where is the evidence? Source? Not at my building finally. They don’t have enough drivers on Monday. Negotiations are over!!! UPS has their fun it’s not the unions problem anymore!

So far there is no evidence just @some1else .
I’m not certain about everywhere else, but where I’m at its doubtful, they would even need to force. PVDs and seasonal drivers will be working Saturdays. Management has already planned on moving volume from Saturday to Monday along with the idea that they believe it will be a very light peak. We shall see.

Company tried to extend MOU in my center -union finally said no. Do not come in do not call labor has been told contract negotiations are over balls in your court. Manager/Supervisors tried to scare everybody didn’t work, they caved because they knew they were wrong. No more forced six punch! Labor agreed! I think it’s funny this company wants to hang on to this expired contract.

That’s exactly what my local did. But Hoffa, er sob, is going to override it.

I watch too many guys stay too long to chase an extra money and they end up getting injured.
I'm not ready yet but but I want to enjoy whatever time I have left on this Earth

Trust me I did the math I know how much I could make if I stayed a lot longer

But who knows how long you're going to live?
I’m going a few more. I’m starting to wind down though. More time out in the back country next week will help

They're very stingy with giving dead days off there anymore

But I do realize how much a few more years of pension credits, raising my social security with higher earnings, more money than put into my IRA and 401k plus my savings

Like my wife told me to figure out an end game
