There is a solution, what they did in the rest of the country. My intel says that the company hired properly for the season in most areas then understaffed and did the 6 day in selected locals as a cost experiment to see which works better for profits. Unfortunately people like you are cheerleading that the 6 day experiment is perfectly fine and are not helpi g
Unfortunately nobody has a set of balls anymore.

I double dare you to force me in

I will show you the definition of over allowed

Then I will call of sick on Wednesday

I don’t buy that. Again we have a contract and depending on what type of leadership you have is the difference in you going in to work to day or you chilling at home enjoying your weekend!

You're intel is incorrect.

I'm not cheerleading anything. UPS dropped the ball in the 60 days they had, but here we are. We cannot go back 60 days. So the option you're suggesting is to screw UPS, make them pay. Screw the customer, who cares? Nice.

You just want payback once before you retire for how you've been treated by a Company that provided you and your family a very good life. And you're about to retire with a very good pension from this same company. Yes, that is thanks to the Teamsters. I want this Company to thrive and keep providing great paying Union jobs.

If we, as Teamsters, the greatest Union in the world, have a choice to bail them out or let them fall on their face? Sorry, I'm Union through and through. I'll do what's best for the Union, even if I have to make a small sacrifice.

When will O'Brien address this issue with the membership as a whole? Until he does morale will keep declining here.

After peak.

He knows UPS is in a bind. He knows that if he enforced the no 6th punch now, the Union may pay dearly in the end. He's hoping to get through the next 3 weeks flying under the radar and then enforce the no 6th punch when UPS isn't slammed with peak deliveries.

Staffing is not my issue

Those lazy supervisors do not do anything all year nor do they take care of you all year but all of a sudden they expect you to bend over for them

I hope every one of those bastards has to work the whole weekend of Christmas
