This is what I was talking about. I too have seen a remarkable improvement when someone at the top makes it a priority. Feeders get in on time, package cars get loaded before 8, it all works like clockwork.
I know it can be done because it has been done. But why is it only when the pressure comes from high enough? Are we the only ones that care about getting out there early for the customer?
And with some of the management comments made on this thread, forcing the issue through the contract would seem to be the only way to accomplish the earlier start time.
