No offense, but I think China could use a bit of population downsizing among with other Asian countries as well as India.

Poll: 62% of Blacks, 54% of Those Under Age of 35 Oppose Taxpayer-Funding For Planned Parenthood

Encouraging to say the least.
Via LifeNews:
An eye-opening nationwide survey from research analyst Kevin Quinely to the Susan B. Anthony List reveals that the groups Planned Parenthood targets—namely those under the age of 35, blacks, and lower-income people—are the least likely to support their government funding.
The question was simple: “Should Tax Dollars for Family Planning Go To Organizations that Perform Abortions?”

“Polling questions that include just the name ‘Planned Parenthood’ and exclude the word ‘abortion’ are incomplete and misleading,” states Kellyanne Conway, the CEO of the polling company, inc./WomanTrend.
The majority of respondents (54%) opposed granting tax funding to abortion-performing family planning groups, with 43% noting that they are “strongly” opposed to it. In contrast, just 20% of respondents noted that they would “strongly” support taxpayer funding for such groups. Interestingly, 26% of pro-choice respondents rejected giving taxpayer dollars to abortion-providing organizations.
54% of respondents under the age of 35 voted against allowing abortion providers access to government funding. In fact, the only age group that voted majority to support taxpayer funding of abortion providers was between 35-44.

Black respondents voted in opposition to granting taxpayer dollars to abortion groups 62% of the time.

Obama: Abortions Help “Our Sons And Daughters To Fulfill Their Dreams”…

Revolting is the only word I can think of to describe this.
(CNS News) – President Barack Obama says the 39[SUP]th[/SUP] anniversary of Roe v. Wade is the chance to recognize the “fundamental constitutional right” to abortion and to “continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.”

“And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.”

Number of Abortions Since 1973 Roe V. Wade Decision: 54,559,615…

Boils down to one abortion every 30 seconds in America.
(LifeNews) — A new estimate published by the National Right to Life Committee indicates there have been an estimated 54,559,615 abortions since the Supreme Court handed down its 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision allowing virtually unlimited abortions.

Although the March for Life took place today, yesterday was the 39th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions — companion cases from Texas and Georgia that struck down pro-life laws protecting unborn children across the country.

In a new document, “Abortion Statistics: United States Data and Trends,” NRLC education director Dr. Randall K. O’Bannon estimates that there have been 54,559,615 abortions since 1973 based on data from both the Centers for Disease Control and the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, a former Planned Parenthood research arm. Guttmacher receives numbers directly from abortion centers themselves and is the prime source for more current figures because the Centers for Disease Control has never tabulated accurate numbers of abortions. The CDC relies on figures from state health departments, some of which rely on voluntary reporting — and it hasn’t had data from some states such as California and New Hampshire for more than a decade.

“Because of these different methods of data collection, GI has consistently obtained higher counts than the CDC. CDC researchers have admitted it probably undercounts the total number of abortions because reporting laws vary from state to state and some abortionists probably do not report or under-report the abortions they perform,” O’Bannon says.

Not necessarily a bad thing ... most of them would have grown up to be Democrats! Just saying. :devil3:

Planned Parenthood Buys $35 Million National HQ in NYC…
Our tax dollars hard at work.
Via LifeNews:
The nation’s biggest abortion business has purchased a new building in New York City that will becomes its national headquarters. New city records reveal Planned Parenthood purchased a commercial condo unit at 424 West 33rd Street for $34.8 million.

According to The Real Deal, a New York City real estate news web site, Planned Parenthood originally signed a 20-year lease for 104,000 square feet of the 200,000-square-foot former industrial building that was converted into an office and condo building in 2002.
The
building had rented at about $35 per square foot until the abortion business purchased the commercial condo from Vectra Management Group, a real estate firm that had owned the building since 2000.

And your other tax dollars at work : (2008 rates)

About $12,000 or more is the average for a normal delivery not counting meds and other special costs. My bestfriend said her bill before she turned it into insurance was $15,000. She had vaginal birth with an epidural and no complications.
All hosiptals are different. The one I went to was $2640 for a normal delivery, $3330 for a c-section, $453 for a Amniocentesis, $300 for a non-stress test, $72/hr for a fetal monitor (which they will do) $61 for the labor room/hour. $641 if you need a ultrasound done, $166 to have your blood done, and another $166 for your babies blood, $1124/day for a room after you give birth, $767/day to have the baby in the nursery. $2250/day if the baby is in the NICU. Plus the cost to have a epi and the cost of the doctor and alot of other things. I suggest going online to the hosiptal that your friend will plan on going to and see what they charge, and see if they have any type of aid to help people with no insurance
