We have had guys who would work as little as possible so that their ex would get the least child support allowed by law while others who would refuse to retire so that their ex would not get a dime of their pension so, yeah, I'm sure there are guys who would be willing to work through all of their vacation weeks just to break 100K.

I lucked out totally on my divorce....she waved on my pension.....waved on alimony ......paid child support for 5yrs(which I had no issues doing) still dropped a ton of money on my son when he was with me........now my son is 16 and lives full time with me.......horrible event in the beginning,, but after the mental pain it worked out Great!

$1352x50wks=$67,600

$67,600+$3042=$70,642 straight time with vacation

$100,000-$70,642=$29,358 needed to reach $100,000

$29,358/50wks= $587.16 OT per week needed

$587.16/$50.7hr=11.58hrs of OT needed a day.

Is that better for you? 51 hours was just a rough guess and the main point was you don't need to work through your vacations to reach $100,000. Also I don't know what supplement your under but I wasn't aware of any that were $34.00/hr if your going to knit pick.

I was just presenting it another way. It appears you only get 2 weeks vacation in this example. It's possible but rare at top rate. My hourly rate is.01 less than the wage rate in my example. I'm working close to the example you used so I thought I'd Cha Ching in.

I've come to the realization that anything over 47 hours per week (average) just means more taxes and no family/social life. Anything more is not worth it.

I try to keep my weekly average around 40. Last Friday I took as a dead day code 26. Had a Dr appointment and than got a early start on my vacation week. I also got paid about 4.5 hrs of guaranteed pay.

my center manager works more hours than that and he dosent make $122,00 a year!

I was curious and did some "rough" calculations. If we worked a full 60 hours a week, that's about how much we would get paid. Seems a lot less than I thought...but still pretty great considering benefits we get.
