Couldn't he just jump in between the trailers?
Guy could've easily jumped between some of those rigs breaking his neck or worse if he really wanted to jump or done it long before police set this up. Should've just let him jump. Guy ran in front of one of our feeder guys committing suicide long before I was in, our guy never lost a minute of sleep.Saw the ups rig...pretty cool idea..

Every one is different , happened to a good friend of mine , the guy was devastated for quite a whileGuy could've easily jumped between some of those rigs breaking his neck or worse if he really wanted to jump or done it long before police set this up. If a guy jumps in front of me and I kill them....meh oh well. We had a driver run over and kill a 5 year old who crawled under his truck to get a ball. Now that I couldn't imagine.Every one is different , happened to a good friend of mine , the guy was devastated for quite a while
I doubt it, I really can't remember it was quite some time ago.Was his load delivered on time?

I know. Did you read who I quoted? The above photo was last night. It is currently a front page story on Washington Post.
same thing happened at our hub years ago. driver is a very good friend of mine. he changed afterward. who wouldn't? I can't believe anyone that claims they did not lose sleep over something like this.Every one is different , happened to a good friend of mine , the guy was devastated for quite a while
You say that until it happens , because even though he did it himself you still wonder what if you did something differentIf a guy jumps in front of me and I kill them....meh oh well. Like hit the accelerator? You say that until it happens , because even though he did it himself you still wonder what if you did something different
Yes.I know. Did you read who I quoted?
And the company is going to rake you over the coals and probably try to find something you did “wrong” to be able to shift blame to the driver... par for the course here...You say that until it happens , because even though he did it himself you still wonder what if you did something different
yes. all paid time goes against your 60 hours. it's considered on duty time.If you're asked to cover a run out of a different center does your Paid Travel time to and from said center count against your 60hrs?
The jake brake is used for slowing down on the freeway and is a toggle button on the dash.... the hand valve is that stick that looks like an erection( wink wink).... some handvalves won’t engage for whatever reason... use the seatbelt to hold it down while you check the break lights and air on the back trailer on a set...did they teach you what the yellow and red buttons are for??How come sometimes when I want to check my brake lights on trailer the "Jake brake" won't stay engaged? Do both handvavles have to be in? If yes is it secure to check the rear lights without the vavles engaged ?
Yes I meant the handvavle. When check my lights I use it to make sure the brake lights work but on some setups like I said it just pops back. Now if I push in both red and yellow it seemed to stay on but I didn't like the idea of walking behind the trailer with just that hand valve down. I wasn't sure if that would secure it.The jake brake is used for slowing down on the freeway and is a toggle button on the dash.... the hand valve is that stick that looks like an erection( wink wink).... some handvalves won’t engage for whatever reason... use the seatbelt to hold it down while you check the break lights and air on the back trailer on a set...did they teach you what the yellow and red buttons are for??
