Anyone know how to fix this synchronization malfunction on the tractors when trying to connect to the IVIS? I've had this happen with multiple tractors and everyone in the hub is too incompetent or lazy to give an adequate solution . Appreciate any help.
just run it. It will fix itself

I've had tie same issue for the past 2 weeks, the problem is the part on the tractor that connects to your IVIS . The part is Calamp.

The problem is I run into being in DOT violation and they yank me off my route and put me on local. I've had this problem on multiple tractors....IVIS works fine and then out of the blue just stops and usually doesn't fix itself.

I've written the problem up at least 20 times. The mechanic just releases the tractor immediately with no fix. I even talked to the mechanics directly and they say, "Yea...it's just something that happens." With no acknowledgment of a fix. The whole situation is annoying because nobody fixes the issue...and then I'm forced into a DOT violation and then get taken off my route. 😡

There is no fix. Buddy’s tractor hasn’t paired to IVIS in almost a year. Wrote it up multiple times.

If it happens on multiple tractors, have you tried a different IVIS?

Means to an end. Nothing but a pension. I get a couple hours OT a week in feeders I’m happy. I’m leaving tens of thousands every year in OT on the table. I don’t care. Hate the place, hate 99% of my co-workers. Want nothing to do with the place. I’m out the day I’m eligible for a full pension.
Hopefully you have a short time left and get a nice new tractor to finish out your career. Push the button and go.

I make a lot in feeder, I don't complain. If I wasn't so close I'd quit tomorrow and do something different. But I'm 47 and only 8 more for a lifetime paycheck seems like a no-brainer.

Yea. I went through 3 different IVIS. Same problem. Ended up with a brand new IVIS straight outta the box. Still same issue. I've tried looking through the IVIS as best as I can (locked out of most features with an admin password) to see if it's a setting I can change somewhere. I was actually able to get into the Bluetooth pairing screen where it searches for nearby Bluetooth devices and secluded myself and the tractor so there was no other signals around and the IVIS couldn't even find the LMU signal the tractor gives off to pair with. I'm guessing this is just a tractor part issue that the mechanics just don't want to bother fixing or have been instructed not to fix for some reason. Seems kinda important seeing as lots of tractors run into the issue and then the driver falls into DOT violation...but what do I know 🫤 I stopped trying to make sense of UPS decisions like 15 years ago.

Explain to me how you would be in violation? As long as you are still logging your stops and mileage and such, then everthing would be copasetic. Just the same as it had been before the fancing syncing ELD days. So as long as you're logging everything properly then all is well.
