With the Halloween and Thanksgiving and Octoberfest I have been seeing the pumpkin beers in the stores. They sound terribly icky to me!!

They are disgusting. My mother in law brought over some blue moon pumpkin beer. It was gross but I drank it anyway. I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

Great Lakes Brewery ( Cleveland, Ohio), tapped the first kegs of Christmas Ale on Thursday...it should be available throughout local bars in the near future on tap. I'm guessing that the bottled beer should be available shortly also

The Shipyard pumpkin wasn't do bad it has hints of nutmeg with a delicate boquet of soap on car windows and oak trees wrapped in toilet paper with a earthy after taste of flamming bags of dog poo on the front steps. Reminds me of Halloween.
