What range are you looking for? Hybrids get over 500 miles on a 9 gallon tank of gas. Charging stations are popping up everywhere. If Amazon put charging stations at all theirs stores. Look out
You do realize not everyone lives in a large metropolitan area that has Amazon stores don't you. Hybrids are a completely different story from "electric" cars. You still need fossil fuel. As far as that goes guess where that electricity comes from?

Do you realize how many miles of pipeline there is already? Another thou is a drop in the bucket. Electric cars won't take over for many many years --if at all. Not until you can get the range out of them that you can a regular car. And who is going to build all the charging stations needed to make them feasible. Fossil fuels are here to stay for many years.
Said the same thing about the horseless carriage.

Plug in hybrids can run on electric only. Don't need Amazon stores to provide charging stations. Just enough demand to put them just about everywhere.

Of course I do. With over 500 stores in the us and uk, I just used Amazon as an example. There are 2 charging stations between my house and work, installed in the last 2 years. The big city here is a college town of under 100,000 people

Big Whoop--- other than Minneapolis area and a couple of the other larger cities in Mn there there are only a handfull of charging stations in the whole state that I know of. Nobody wants to wait overnight for their car to charge up plugged into household current.

We have one --at an AT&T store --in the whole county that I have ever heard of.

Said the same thing about cell phones and cell phone coverage.

We have one at a grocery store (6-8) hookups. And a strip mall (20ish hookups). With malls going out of business, plenty of space. Could be the gimmick that saves malls.

Tesla owners don't have to wait overnight.
