Robinhood has been pushing stock market gambling to everyone with a phone for a while now.
Not really much different than etrade back in the dotcom boom.

Didn't get a chance to watch much, saw the FTX ad and the Facebook meta quest crap. And saw etrade bringing the baby ad back. That baby brings me some dotcom boom vibes.
"This time is different" though lol. Long term who cares, web3 can't be stopped. But short term..... hold on.
