Cancel culture—-ON TOPIC

You clearly dont know what a double standard is.
Conservatives freaking invented cancel culture. You have spent decades trying to cancel LBGTQ folks, minorities, atheists, socialists, pacifists, vegans, Colin Kaepernick, and pretty much anyone else who didn’t neatly fit into your narrow-minded little comfort zones. You got butt hurt over movies like “The Black Panther” and “Avatar.” Dont forget that conservatives were actually the first ones to try and “cancel” Dr Seuss, back in 2012 when “The Lorax” movie came out with a pro-environmental message. Cancel culture is your baby, you are just mad now that it has grown up and started biting you in the ass.
Your idea of cancel culture by conservatives is not liking things that are shoved in our faces and down our throats. If a guy is disrespectful to our national anthem in an inappropriate venue and we say we don't like it we're the evil ones. What we don't like is the Left's determination to completely change this country in every way possible with no let up in sight.

I always thought there was an invisible line that existed in our society that would never be crossed by Americans. No matter your politics or religion. Traditional norms, accepted standards, and values are not only being rejected, but are being sold as the new normal.
Cancel culture is grooming the new generation on the scene.

The result of lack of religion. Religion, and the belief in it, used to keep people in check and teach morals and values.

The problem isn't the lack of religion. We will never eliminate religious thinking, it is part of what makes us human. The problem is replacing the concept of God with much, much lesser concepts such as government and science.

The more i have learned about the complexity of science the more I believe it did not happen by accident

Wokeness is the religion of the hard left and cancel culture is the religion in action.

The rules are that the rules are always changing, are retroactive, there is no trial, and there is no redemption.

Justifiable punishments include murder, assault, property damage, harassment, and loss of income. This also includes the perpetrator's family and friends.

The only people I can think of who got a pass (for of all things, blackface) is Trudeau and Kimmel. I was looking forward to those two being drawn and quartered. Alas, my popcorn got cold. I remain confused and severely disappointed.

You "understand the rules." But do you feel safe?
Those are two VERY different things.
Feel safe? Looking for a safe zone? Lol. Carry on snowflake.

Once upon a time, religion was practiced by most. As that number has dropped considerably, so too have the morals and values of our society.

You should really study the history of religion some time. You might just be surprised how those " morals and values " of religion were never really there.
And yet people have followed them for centuries. No one is saying religion has been perfect, but it has provided people with basic guidelines on how to act and treat others.
