Who's stopping you from getting a horse and moving into a teepee? You can chop your own wood and tell stories by the fire about the Great Father Nader. Absolutely nothing is stopping you from doing so.

yes and we will rebel against capitalism which is a system of death
Why would you need to? You're out on the pristine prairie chasing buffalo then retreating to your roaring campfire to play shadow puppets before retiring for the night. You don't have a care in the world. Everything is better there so why aren't you doing it already?

You're the one saying we'd all be better off if we lived like Native Americans. So put your money where your mouth is. And while out there try considering what it would take for all of us, hundreds of millions of us, to live like they did before capitalism. Consider hundreds of millions of people hunting every day for food. Cutting firewood with stone implements. Hauling drinking water. Waste removal.

The reason we have capitalism is markets seek to be as efficient as possible for as large a profit as possible. To provide goods and services people want that will improve their lives and they're willing to pay for. That's how you house, feed, clothe, and transport that many people.

Now come back at me with you're usual nonsensical BS. You are naive, immature, and ignorant. And you enable people like Nader to enrich themselves feeding your delusions.

markets dont seek to be efficient - we ship goods thousands of miles; thats not efficient.

we have a throw away consumer culture - thats not efficient

most things we own sit unused most of hte time - thats not efficient

get off the crack pipeee

We MASS ship items. Again, I said the markets seek to be the most efficient FOR THE MOST PROFIT. It's cheaper to ship from China for example because the labor costs are much cheaper. Thus shipping from that distance is the most cost effective. Furthermore in the U.S. we ship in bulk our food by truck and rail. Can you grow wheat in substantial amounts in Georgia? Much better to grow it in Kansas and ship it to manufacturing plants all over to process into food.

You don't understand what has already been figured out long ago. You think that markets are purposely being inefficient for some evil reason. But the truth is no matter the product producers want to make it for as little as possible so that they can keep more of what they charge for themselves. They aren't intentionally throwing money away.

Now come back with more nonsensical wisdom on how you think everything ought to work when you don't demonstrate any knowledge of how things actually work and why they are done that way.

Just be honest. You want to herd everyone into cities where they'll all use buses and subways that are electrified by wind and solar. The food we eat will be from huge government farms using fully automated electric machines. We'll be told what we can eat as in bugs, not meat. What we can wear. What words we are allowed to use. With everyone having equal outcomes from equal incomes. Having more is evil unless you've proven your value to the state.

shipping long distances might be profitable (only because cost of pollution not actually factored in) but its definitely not efficient.

It's the most efficient way to maintain profits. Markets don't choose to operate at a loss. Soon out of business that way.

profits and efficiency are not the same thing
Who said they were? But you operate as efficiently as possible to make bigger profits. Your extreme efficiency won't work because no one would do it if it cost them too much to operate that way.

And personal cars that sit most of the time? Those personal cars provide jobs to people. Manufacturing, car dealers, gas production, gas distribution, car repair, parts suppliers, aftermarket products like stereos, window tinting, etc. The list is endless. You'd put a lot of people out of working herding everyone onto public transportation. But it's efficient!
