I'm pretty confident I already know the answer
@vantexan was honest enough to say in jesus time, he indeed was a revolutionary relative to the roman state of that time.

what do you know about hte roman state back then?

if he was a revolutionary/left wing/ radical (all interchangable terms when you google radical), then is it so hard to imagine the roman state killed him because of his revolutionary spirit?

I know what Jesus' purpose was here on earth and why He was sent. He was radical in that He was the Son of God and the Pharisees hated Him for making that claim. The miracles that He worked as well as the sermons He preached along the way made Him more and more popular. The Roman empire was the strongest government back in His time, but was just a side note for His mission here on earth.

A real Christian gives their heart to Christ and who lives their life for Christ and live life to glorify His name. They also seek to help others to come to Him in salvation. People who simply say they are but are fake are the ones that bend His words and teachings to mold to what they want it to to satisfy their wants in their lives. They live to fulfill their goals for their own satisfactions

1 of our tenants is a catholic but i guess she has mental problems and raised her daughter to be a bitch

our old tenant were really into christianity but they lied, and drove gas guzzlers, and sabotaged, and threatened assault

christianity gets coopted. i think its just common sense finding the good ones.

you can be right wing and be a christian but it might be about taking action by being against govt spying, being in favor of unions, etc.

study about Roman empire to your hearts content if it will help you find the answers you want. I just told you who Jesus was and what His purpose was. Rome was not a priority to Him. Just look at all of the red letters in the gospels and you'll see He rarely spoke of Roman government

Yes, Christianity gets co opted by people. This is why I try to stay simple when trying to find the good ones by trying to see what their motives are. Are they interested in the salvation of people and trying to live their lives for Him, or are they trying to do things their way for their gain to further their own desires

He was killed because the Jewish establishment asked the Romans to execute him. And you are mischaracterizing what I said earlier.

you said revolutionary
Yes, the Son of God was radical and revolutionary, but not in the way you are trying to spin it for your own needs. God in human form to smash the head of the serpent and offer a path to heaven through Him. He came to die for our sins. That was pretty radical and revolutionary.

i look forward to discussing the roman state so we can compare jesus to the state and see for ourselves if he was revolutionary or not.

I said Jesus was revolutionary in that he was teaching to love your neighbors, love your enemies. What you advocate is the polar opposite of Jesus.
martin luther king jr did the same thing. love your neighbour. wanted a revolution. killed by the state which was an empire.

julian assange basically did the same thing. love your neighbour. probably wants a revolution. tortured and almost killed by the empire.
