Considering going driver

Been with the company 10 years part time. They have offered me full time driver several times this year as I keep signing lists hoping to get a 22.3 job. I keep turning it down because I haven't learned to drive a manual yet among other reasons. I know the job is difficult and it eats up most of your life but I'm really wanting more money at the same time.

Any advice?

Yeah I have met a lot of people along the way I never would've otherwise but I'm glad to know. That's why it's hard to say. But strictly speaking on the job? Yes I'd honestly rather be doing something else.

Nope---it is in the contract--- one must wait 10 years before becoming a driver.

The thought process was that they would feel as though they earned it rather than to have a FT job handed to them.

They could get a 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder 6 speed automatic from another dealer for 23K.
