Incorrect. They won’t be doing the same work. If they got paid the same, then the class came in and you saw them doing less work for the same pay, then you would be crying about it being unfair, and you would be waiting to bid the job.

Can't reiterate this enough!
They twist everything. If this is going to go through, we need very stestr language on it
1 anything over 8 is double time for an article 22.4
2 any RPCD driver that does not have work available on a Monday or Tuesday shall have the first right to work on Saturday.
3 any 22.4 driver that drives over a certain amount of hours shall get RPCD rate.
4 all article 22.4 driver are covered under article 37

Knowledge is key, Experience is power.
They have to or else they lose their free food,gas,car and have to go back to work. That's why everyone has to read the contract for themselves and educate the youngsters to do the same. The union realizes that the workforce is a little wiser and can read and make decisions for themselves so that's why they are taking it personal with social media this time. There was social media during the last contract but they didn't see it as a threat.

Here’s a bright idea.... doesn’t need any overly complicated language. Instead of an opt in, 9.5 is opt out. No working after 9pm even during peak season. Supervisors have to stay until the last driver gets back to the building. That creates all the full time drivers the union needs to pay dues. Sunday’s. No working after 9pm creates all the full time jobs the union needs to pay dues and gets rid of the excessive overtime. And keeping the supervisors around will make them stop tampering with dispatch, trip cutting and will motivate them to bring down the hammer on those crappy preloaders they like to blame for every issue. No 22.4 needed. Everyone’s happy.

Opinion. I like my overtime. Get on the 9.5 list, and stop asking for ridiculous things like that pay scale.
