UPS sends your retro money electronically to Big Babooba Bank and Trust. We process the individual amounts and issue debit cards that will be sent to your address. Of course there will be the mandated fees, service charges and postage deducted. We advise you to spend your 59 cents wisely. Don't go out and order a Lamborghini.
I was going to order a Tesla instead. Damn. Atleasst I can get a couple fireball nips at the local bodega.

You would think for 86.3% voting yes the question would be "is water wet" not a mediocre contract after a really insulting 25 cent offer. UPS really brainwashed the sheeple with the PR team.

It’s over. Time to move on.

They could have negotiated that all male drivers must wear a brown poodle skirt and wear a rainbow strap on and 90 percent would vote yes as long as it had an 8 dollar raise…and then tell you to quit if you object. Thats just the new reality.
That’s always been reality and that is fine as long as the vote was legit. I just tell them that an $8 raise over 5yrs isn’t great at all when $3 was taken from us through inflation. So that leaves us $1yr which is what we’ve been getting since I started here. Roughly. However a lot of members pension got screwed this time around. Just far from a historic contract, that’s all.

But the language you got in this contract is also worth a lot of money

58% voted and all you had to do is scan a QR code. A little sad.

If we went by the sentiment on the Internet, it seemed like this was going to scrape by, not 86% yes.

What language? It doesn’t put money in my pocket. I don’t mean to be self centered, but we’ve all had the price of goods increase. Language doesn’t pay the bills
Well if he was at 22.4 driver that up to your pay check by a lot

We'll all get overtime for Martin Luther King Day

We don't have to pay anything for health insurance for next 5 years

That's not too shabby

And that’s fine and dandy but I’m not a 22.4 driver, we didn’t have to pay anything for insurance the last contract either, and Martin Luther king day is racist and not enough to make up for inflation. Not to mention I don’t like celebrating a woman beaters day.
