This whole issue of facial hair baffles me.

It's not a contractual issue, even worthy of concideration.


We should be focused working conditions, safety, and life altering issues, etc.

I didn't think those $1000 bonuses from many years ago were worthy of consideration either, but boy was I wrong!
Another example of cutting our own throats. Remember when the company equated wearing shorts, with attire of a Topless Dancer, until they decided to sell the shorts to us in a beautiful combo with socks? $75 was it? Point is, while I agree with you, who knows nowadays what the next bargaining chip will be?

Bonuses to ensure implementation of a two tiered FT wage structure.
No, I was referring to those $1000 bonuses we received many many years ago in our contract, in lieu of raises. What happened, was the marginal contract was being passed because the part-timers were passing the contract being happy with the $1000 bonuses. I think we received them for 3 years in that contract. Problem was or course, at the end of the contract, those bonuses ended so it never really added up to a raise. But the strategy to pass the contract worked.
