Just waiting to hear the reports of houses and garages on fire due to the over stuffing them with toilet paper.

Never have a heard on my scanners the reports of so many motor vehicle accidents in shopping malls and grocery stores. Normally Sat is a quiet day. More accidents then a Black Friday could cause.

Fights and stabbings at Sam's club.

My wife went to Costco and they had a line of dozens of people, there were so many in the store they were limiting how many could come in. She just left and came home.

The media has people going crazy.

NURSING HOME REGULATIONS: The Obama Administration implemented them before a pandemic. Trump eliminated them before the pandemic. And is trying to reinstate them now.

COVID-19 Prep Update- March 14: Last night I was on with state & local officials around the US well into the night. By March 23 many of our largest cities & hospitals are on course to be overrun with cases. I am going to prepare a memo for them. I will share highlights here.1/

The only way to prevent Italy given our lack of testing is to socially isolate. Congress even allocates money for people to stay home. That rarely happens. But we blew our chance at containment. 5/

This is what it looks like in Italian hospitals. Every report describes this as a tsunami. And if it happens like a tsunami, in major cities we will have 10s of thousands more cases than we have beds & we will have 1 ventilator for every 8 people who need one. 4/

I've left the house once in the last two weeks and felt apprehensive about touching the handle while pumping gas. What the hell are these people thinking?

This is the scene at O’Hare airport. The traveler who took the photo said it’s a 6-hour wait for bags then on to customs for 2-4 more of waiting in shoulder-to-shoulder crowds. Police are handing out water and disinfectant wipes. @fly2ohare #ord #coronavirus #COVID19

I am so :censored2: sick of this. Pass a bill, and it is paid for. Just like when you authorize $700+ billion for the Pentagon without a moment’s pause. Votes fund spending. As you well know. Now go do your job, and fund a package that will help protect the American people!

Senator Lamar Alexander (R) blocks quick passage of paid sick leave bill - causing it to fail: “The idea of paid sick leave is a good idea but if Washington, D.C. thinks it's a good idea Washington, D.C. should pay for it."

We should be paying most workers to stay home. Keep them ON payroll but OUT of the workplace.

Paying sick workers to stay home is one of the most important things the government can do to slow the spread of the coronavirus. This bill is being sold as meeting that need. Democrats and Republicans are saying it. And they are not telling the truth. Opinion | There’s a Giant Hole in Pelosi’s Coronavirus Bill

Seems like a poor selling point for universal healthcare looking at the photos from Italy and the devastation to the health system in Europe
