Just stop it, Italy isn’t the only nation in the world and their growth rates really weren’t much different from America’s. Again if the China travel ban worked then our growth rates should be less than nearly everyone else’s and yet ours growth rates are near the top. Just stop with the China travel ban fan fiction. The China travel ban failed. And then trump failed in every other way possible.
My point about Italy is that you talk of the U.S. like it's the only country that matters and our leadership is the only leadership that failed. This virus is in every corner of the world. And Italy in terms of death has been hit a lot worse than us and the only reason we've got more cases now is because Italy finally put a serious clamp down on movement. And yes it's each state's responsibility to be prepared for disasters and emergencies. This is comparable to local leaders trying to shift blame to the feds after a hurricane when the Federal government has to be formally requested to come in. The Federal government isn't all powerful and certain powers and responsibilities are reserved at the state level. Andrew Cuomo just tried to shift blame to Trump but it came out he was offered a good deal on respirators in 2015 or 16. 16,000 of them and he passed on them. And early on the World Health Organization was being told by China that the virus wasn't transmitting human to human. You can't make appropriate decisions when you're being lied to. Apparently the Chinese had hoped to cover this up until it ran it's course. A lot of moving parts to this, too many to put blame squarely on one leader.

Trump minimized it, at the point where it was critical NOT to minimize it. Nobody could have stopped Covid-19 entirely, but Trump did his level best to try and make it look like the flu. The whole Right Wing Media played right along.

Now, you attempt to deflect and redefine, as usual. Trump failed. Miserably.

They did, and WAPO and the NY Times did also. New York City officials did also and look at New York now. Of course you only want Trump to take the blame because you want him gone.

OMG!
Keep saying the same thing- it seems to be working?
We get it. You don't like Trump; He is a failure; people who voted for him should be shot.

Why is anyone responding to these troll posts??? What a waste of time. He would give or even take the TDS award from MrFedx. Next TOS will magically appear.

I'd love to have him gone, but the critical point right now is leadership, and he has failed. It's time to have widely available testing, real numbers, and someone in charge who is more concerned about the public good than his personal good.

Refinery wastes over 2 hours of his life expressing an opinion. The same opinion, over, and over, and over. It's like a campaign against trump ponzi scheme. Opinions are great; when you repeat the same thing over and over, it tells me that they are just repeating something they heard from the media.
I've had that dumbbutt on IGNORE for over a year.
I've never seen him post a rational or helpful post.

capitalism supposedly likes efficiency. so that means just enough stuff normally, and in a pandemic you are screwed.

but actually what capitalism also does is tries to privatize government programs so it can profit off them, and it pressures government lower its taxes.
