Agree with you that he didn’t take this seriously enough early enough as he and Congresspeople (who then offloaded substantial stock holdings) were briefed on what was probably coming.

Strongly disagree that blocking flights didn’t help buy us more time. Whatever the Democrats would have done differently likely would have been offset by their urgent need to be politically correct in all things. Keeping borders open and flights going for fear of being crucified on the cross of the hard leftists.
