The same can easily be said of the US. What price should they pay?
We didn't create it in a lab and lose control of it. And putting it all on Trump isn't fair as each state is responsible for its handling of it. But doesn't stop you from doing so. If Trump were to be prosecuted for his handling of it then many Democrat leaders would have to be also as they encouraged people to go to celebrations and denounced Trump as xenophobic for restricting air travel with China.

I didn’t realize you were basing your criticism of China on a bat :censored2: crazy idea that the virus was manufactured in a lab or the incorrect belief that local officials don’t exist in China.

Those local officials are under control of the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing. And there are two Chinese military virology labs in Wuhan. If the virus was created in wet markets that could have happened anywhere in China but it happened where their military has two virology labs. THE virology labs of the Chinese military. At any rate their handling of it was criminal and yet once again you defend a bunch of communists over your own country.

Such a stupid mischaracterization that you always make. I think a properly functioning government could have contained the virus. We have evidence that demonstrates that. China didn’t and neither did the US. Why is that so hard for you to admit?

We have a system in place that respects human rights. We didn't disappear doctors and journalists who spoke up about the virus. We didn't nail apartment doors shut to keep people with the virus contained. Where those people died. So which country's government do you feel was the properly functioning one?

New York’s true nursing home death toll cloaked in secrecy

NEW YORK (AP) — Riverdale Nursing Home in the Bronx appears, on paper, to have escaped the worst of the coronavirus pandemic, with an official state count of just four deaths in its 146-bed facility.

The truth, according to the home, is far worse: 21 dead, most transported to hospitals before they succumbed.

“It was a cascading effect,” administrator Emil Fuzayov recalled. “One after the other.”

New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were transported to hospitals and died there.
