Back to square one,

The only thing that ever had a chance of working is reliable therapeutics to prevent most deaths. We have that and we're barely using it.

Preventing cases is a fool's errand. It's not going to work.

And they intentionally held back the therapeutics because if there are therapeutics that work well, you can't get a vaccine approved.

And you can't draw out a public health "emergency" to justify shredding the constitution and expanding government control.

That title is misleading - What the study showed was that if you were vaccinated and have Coronavirus it was the varient 5% of the time versus if you are un-vaccinated and have coronavirus it is the variant 1% of the time. It compared like number of people who were positive for Coronavirus, not like number of vaccinated and un-vaccinated people That would imply the vaccination works against the normal strain.
I would be much more interested in the prevalence in people with natural immunity compared to those with the vaccine. We should have protected the at risk and let it burn through everyone else to get to herd immunity much faster.

The irony of doing a dangerous activity like skiing while bitching about a virus that has an astronomically low chance of killing someone your age is just silly.
