That title is misleading - What the study showed was that if you were vaccinated and have Coronavirus it was the varient 5% of the time versus if you are un-vaccinated and have coronavirus it is the variant 1% of the time. It compared like number of people who were positive for Coronavirus, not like number of vaccinated and un-vaccinated people That would imply the vaccination works against the normal strain.Study finds COVID variant affects vaccinated individuals more than unvaccinated
