The worst cases the virus attacks the blood. Blood type plays a large roll in just how sick people get. Shouldn’t be surprising that a few people had reactions.

I think I had it back in February. Serious cough for three weeks, rasp in my lungs when I breathed in, hard to catch my breathe. I'm O+, and that's supposed to be more protective than other blood types. Was close to going to the doctor but it went away. Didn't feel like a normal cough/cold. Now wondering if I should get vaccinated.

While I totally agree with this it’s not me that I am worried about. If I got covid and gave it to my elderly parents or friends who have health problems and they got sick/died then I would feel horrible. It all depends on the persons situation IMO. You could equally argue both sides.
