Diesel fuel shortage: Why is no one talking about this?

Google diesel shortage and set it for a week and see what the current stories are. Due to lack of refining capacity we're down a bit on a number of fuels. Notice how gas prices have come down a bit after dipping into the strategic reserve but diesel prices have remained very high?So…
At the beginning of the month we only had 25 days worth of diesel. So shouldn’t we be down to about 7 or 8 days left?

To your point, if it was 7 or 8, diesel would be $12 per gallon.

Yes, with the SOR and current oil production the US can last almost 5 years without any imports.
