difference between pt union benefits and pt manager benefits?

Part time sups sometimes get hired as part of the six to one ratio. Part time sups get benefits right away where teamsters get them after one year of employment. Management pays for their benefits and hourlys don't.

I've been with ups for 2 years as a customer service in the morning.

But they are trying to offer me a pt management job. Not a sup job it's to deal with customers over the phone

The job would be easier physically.

But not sure if the health benefits were as good as the union.

And I want an option if I ever want to drive ft I can.

My kids are in preschool and 2nd grade so I'm good with pt for now

Would mean more hours and maybe a jump in pay. I would guess the chance to go driving would be less. Maybe as a seasonal.

Depends what you want yo do in the future. If you have aspirations of driving don't do it. You'll never be able to get back to the other side. Once you cross over there is no getting back. The PT sup grabbing a FT driving gig is one in a 1000. Doesn't happen
