Omg, I had a subcontractor with crappy trucks and was told not to shut it down.

Left him for better ones. A couple years passed and he learned to maintain a decent fleet to keep driver turnover to a minimum.

Common sense, some have it. Others run n gun with no sense of the consequences of rushing around trying to maintain a high sporh rate so they think they're making similar wages as a FXE driver ( shrugs )
Many FXG drivers are paid by the stop which is nothing more than trendy sharecropping and with the rates so low naturally they're going to be out there flying around like Buzzy The Hummingbird. As a result incidents and events are going to happen that will leave that little FXG driver who had nothing to begin with even worse off than before.

It's the poorest damn setup I ever saw but you could get by with it as long as it stayed within a very narrow channel of operation. But, when you know who got a hold of it you now have the mess it has become.
